You Are An ISTJ
The Duty Fulfiller

You are responsible, reliable, and hardworking - you get the job done.
You prefer productive hobbies, like woodworking or knitting.
Quiet and serious, you are well prepared for whatever life hands you.
You are conservative and down-to-earth. You hardly ever do anything crazy.

In love, you are loyal and honest. If you commit yourself to someone, then you're fully committed.
For you, love is something that happens naturally. And you don't need romantic gestures to feel loved.

At work, you remember details well and are happy to take on any responsibility.
You would make a great business executive, accountant, or lawyer.

How you see yourself: Decisive, stable, and dependable

When other people don't get you, they see you as: Boring, conservative, and egotistical

Just got this note in an email from a friend. Had never thought of this before and i guess after my own stupid circumstance i agree with what he is saying...

Message from a Hard working Aussie

I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to earn that pay cheque, i work on a mine site on a Kalgoorlie (WA) construction project. I am required to pass a random urine test, with which I have no problem.
What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a
Centerlink Payment because I have to pass one to earn it for them?
Please understand - I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do on the other hand have a problem with helping someone sit on their backsides drinking grog & smoking dope.
Could you imagine how much money the Government would save if people had to pass a urine
test to get a Centerlink Payment ?????

My pirate name is:

Mad Bess Kidd

Every pirate is a little bit crazy. You, though, are more than just a little bit. Even though you're not always the traditional swaggering gallant, your steadiness and planning make you a fine, reliable pirate. Arr!

from fasterouder.com today:!!

This week it was reported in the Moscow Times that the Russian government are drafting legislature outlawing emo and gothic music. I am so over emo I couldn't even bring myself to write news about it (and yes, I can see the irony in dedicating my whole editorial to it - damn it).
According to the Guardian, the bill is proposing measures to "regulate emo websites" and ban "emo and goth fashions from schools and government buildings".

What is an emo anyway? Well according the legislation an emo fits the following description: "12-16 year olds with black and pink clothing, studded belts, painted fingernails, ear and eyebrow piercings and black hair with fringes that cover half the face." NEWS FLASH - that ain't emo, it's just bad fashion. I'm sure Stalin is twiddling his tyrannical moustache with glee from the grave.

Had a new visitor on Tuesday, he is an Australian Hobby and apparently rare to be seen in these parts.
Perched upon the antenna looking down into the yard, was one of those photo moments i wish i could have superjumped to the roof and taken it from a different angle. Im starting to understand the patience and frustration wildlife photographers must deal with.

I've found a great website www.birdsaustralia.com.au that may interest you [info]redfaced_duck.

And those who come to visit in the warmer weather please bring a bucket and spade, im sure we can be just as creative!

A while ago i added this pic to my flickr collection and thought it was a grass hopper.

Some further reading after looking up Dragonflies, leads me to believe this is a Damselfly Nymph.
http://www.amonline.net.au/factsheets/dragonflies.htm

Sounds like something that should be in a story book, rescuing the fairies from the Tallem's.

Anyways, just wanted to clear that up. Am now off to look for mushroom and sea bird web sites.
